Deep in the enchanted grove, where summer never fades, the vine-keepers harvest fruit kissed by moonlight and morning dew. They work at odd hours because the melons ripen on their own schedule and nobody has ever successfully hurried them. This bar carries that same sweetness — bright watermelon with a cool, fresh finish.

The scent

Watermelon is harder to get right than it sounds — most versions come out as candy. This one keeps the green rind in the mix, which is what makes it read as actual fruit: sweet up front, but with a cool, slightly vegetal edge that keeps it refreshing rather than sugary.

Who it's for

Summer showers, and anyone who wants gentle daily exfoliation. The poppy seeds are the mildest scrub in our range — noticeable, but soft enough to use every day and on more delicate skin than the salt or coffee bars.

A note on the poppy seeds

Poppy seeds are small, round, and smooth, which makes them a much gentler exfoliant than salt or ground coffee — they roll across the skin rather than scraping it. If you like the idea of a scrub bar but have found others too harsh, this is the one to try. They'll rinse away cleanly and won't clog a drain.

What's in it, and why

• Poppy seeds — the gentlest exfoliation in our range. Daily-use soft.
• Coconut oil — the lather. It's what gives the bar its thick, fast bubbles.
• Olive oil — the gentleness. A classic conditioning oil that keeps the bar mild.
• Mango seed butter — the creaminess. Adds body to the lather and a softer feel on the skin.
• Avocado oil — rich and conditioning, long used in bars meant for dry or tired skin.
• Castor oil — the bubble stabilizer. A small amount makes the lather last instead of collapsing.
• Jojoba oil — closest in structure to skin's own oils.
• Yogurt — our signature addition, for a creamier, silkier lather.
• Tocopherol (Vitamin E) — a natural antioxidant that helps keep the oils fresh.

Making it last

Handmade soap is softer than the mass-produced bars you'd find in a supermarket, which is exactly why it feels better on your skin — and exactly why it dissolves if you leave it sitting in water. Keep it on a draining dish or in a sisal pouch between showers and let it dry out fully.
