About Knights Supply Co.
How It Started
I didn't set out to build a soap company — I set out to fix my own skin. Store-bought bars left me itchy, dry, and reading ingredient labels I couldn't pronounce, half of which sounded more like a chemistry exam than something I wanted on my skin every day. So I started making my own.
What began as a kitchen experiment turned into something I couldn't put down. Turns out I loved the process almost as much as the result — measuring oils, watching a batch come together, cutting fresh bars and seeing what worked and what didn't. There's something genuinely satisfying about making something with your hands, start to finish, and knowing exactly what went into it.
Somewhere along the way, the high-fantasy side of me showed up too. I've always loved the world of knights, quests, and chivalry — not just the swords-and-dragons part, but the idea underneath it: that doing something well, with dedication and care, is its own kind of honor. That a craftsman who takes pride in their work is worth something. Naming bars after wardens and wizards just felt right. Knights Supply Co. became the place where good, honest skincare meets a little bit of adventure — a small kingdom built one batch at a time.
How It's Made
Every bar starts small — literally. I make each batch by hand, in small quantities, so I can actually pay attention to what's happening instead of rushing product out the door to hit some quota. There's no factory line here, no automation, no shortcuts. Just me, a set of scales, and ingredients I actually trust.
Real oils and butters go into every recipe — coconut for a good lather, olive for gentleness, mango seed butter for creaminess, avocado for rich conditioning. Every ingredient earns its place because of what it actually does for your skin, not because it's cheap filler. Once a batch is poured and cut, the bars go through weeks of curing before they're ever ready to sell. That waiting period isn't optional — it's what makes a bar harder, longer-lasting, and genuinely better on your skin. Good soap takes patience, not just a recipe, and I'm not interested in cutting that corner.
Still Early, Still Hands-On
I'm still early in this journey — Knights Supply Co. is under a year old. But that means every bar you get right now is made by someone who's still personally hands-on with every single batch, every single label, every single order that goes out. No factory, no middleman, no team of twenty. Just me, good ingredients, and a genuine love for the craft.
You'll find me at local farmers markets too, setting up a table and talking soap with anyone curious enough to stop by. There's something I love about that in-person connection — watching someone smell a bar for the first time, or hearing which scent reminds them of something from their own life. That's the same spirit I try to carry into every online order, even when I can't be there in person to hand it to you myself.
Why It Matters
Whether you're here for cleaner ingredients, the fantasy theme, or just an affordable bar that's actually made with care — welcome to the kingdom. This is still a small operation with a lot of room to grow, and every single order helps make that possible. I hope you find a scent (or three) that feels like yours, and I hope you'll stick around to see where this goes.
Thank you for being here. Truly.
